Subtitles don't seem to work in Episode 1. Thats weird,mine works -.-. Copy closecaption_language.txt and closecaption_language.dat from Episode 1's resource folder (\Half-Life 2\episodic\resource) into Synergy's resource folder (\Synergy\synergy\resource). Blame Synergy's horrendous mounting system. All you can do is place files in the Synergy

Is it just me, or does most if not all of the half life 2 game/s crash repeatedly. It crashed for me on 2, Lost Coast and Episode 1 game. Half Life 2 game didn't happen until further in, but Lost Coast and Episode 1 were early on. Is this a bug issue with the game?
I think the reason hl2 episode 1 was so short was because there weren't many puzzles and the puzzles that are in the game are easy, so you don't need to spend that much time on puzzles. I beat the game in barely 3 hours and then started at chapter 2 and completed the majority of the game in an hour. #1. Showing 1 - 1 of 1 comments.
Bassicaly, right click half-life 2, properties, local files > verify integrity. It worked for me, I just did it in the Half Life 2 game and HL2 and both Episodes worked. Same here. I did it earlier.
